DANZ103
Russian Jazz was born in Odessa. Trio Scho are the charming, snappy and, of course, nostalgic ambassadors of this music, wherever they perform.
On their new CD they present a selection of songs and instrumentals, sourcing in the multicultural athmosphere of the Ukrainian metropoles Kiev and Odessa: evergreens like "Odessa Mama", Russian romances in swinging versions, a song about Kiev tramway riding, Tangos, Jewish horas and "Sowjetski Rock`n`Roll", many of them well known from old shellac recordings and popular until today.
