Kroke was founded by three graduates of Krakow's school of music in 1992. Playing in jazz clubs and folk festivals Jerzy Bawol, Tomasz Kuburba and Tomasz Lato have gained a reputation as avante garde Klezmer musicians.

Based on their Jewish family tradition they've developed a forward-looking musical concept that is never static. The creativity of these brilliant musicians is demonstrated not least in their stage performances, where they never fail to enthuse their public with their virtuoso improvisations. Even in the recording studio their ambition to follow their musical talent wherever it should lead asserts itself. Though never loosing their respect for the spirit of Klezmer they venture beyond the constraints of strict tradition ......
